Who we are
Hello, I’m Cici!
Currently the “we” is mostly me! However, for scheduling & billing, you might be directed through a platform called “Headway,” so they are loosely part of the “we” also.
My path to this work has been a meandering one — winding through degrees in anthropology & nursing, and careers in education, community health, and midwifery. Along the way, I’ve always been guided by a deep-rooted curiosity about what connects us, grounds us, and helps us heal. I’ve lived and worked in places like the Bronx, Egypt, Mexico, and Haiti - drawn to the magic of human connection and the many ways people create meaning and care in their lives. I am now based in Colorado.
My practice is shaped not just by clinical training, but also by lived experience—including my own journey with ADHD, chronic pain & disability. I hold space for all kinds of minds and bodies, and especially love working with those navigating neurodivergence, chronic illness, & perimenopause… or simply those trying to live authentically in a world that can often push against our spirits.
I live in the foothills of the Colorado mountains with my human, fur & feathered family! I love gardening, being near water, music, being crafty, and finding ritual to honor the cycles of the seasons, phases of life, & the earth around us.
Fun facts: I grew up on the east coast in Connecticut, but I’ve lived in Colorado longer than anywhere else (20+ years & counting!). Some of the jobs I had before my degrees were as a lifeguard, a butcher, a house painter, and in a bookstore. When I lived in Cairo, Egypt, I was a kindergarten teacher. I also taught English as a foreign language (EFL) for several years in different countries. I speak Spanish, and know bits and pieces of Egyptian Arabic and Haitian Creole.
